Placement Targeting With Google AdWords

Part 1: Locate Pages Where You Can Place Your Ads

1. Top Organic Listings (Copy and Paste Top URL on Google for Top Keywords into Notepad File, outsource (locally), placement locator.com (AdWords Ads Only), placement intelligence.com (All of Them))

2. Related Blogs (all top.com)

3. Related/Competitor Sites (quant cast.com, Sikkens stain type in name of competitor and get ranks based on traffic)

Part 2: Google Placement Targeting (do not use Google free tool because everyone is already doing that)

1. Bid Cost Per Click...Not Cost Per Impression

2. Bid on placements...Not websites

3. Pay more for "action pages"

4. Put Ads on Competitors Capture pages and thank you pages if you can or know what they are.

5. Do not do placement targeting until you have successful ads running in the content network.

6. Use Content Network Bid Amounts

7. Demographics and Psychographics

8. Total control of traffic quality and source

9. Instead of selecting keywords, select webpages.

Part 3: Strategic Banner Ad Buying

1. Placement Performance Report (reporting page, create new report, placement performance, click on report)

2. More dependable and predictable (because you are paying for it)

3. Huge Inventories

4. Greater control over your marketing message

5. Can be cheaper than Pay Per Click Advertising

6. Attracts Buyers not researchers

Part 4: Cost Per View Traffic Sniping

What is CPV? = Cost Per View

*Entire webpage (not just an ad) appears over pages that you specify. Like Placement Targeting, you choose the pages your site pop over

*highly controversial and unethical

Benefits of Cost Per View

*No need to create ads

*Traffic is cheap and targeted, but still low quality

*Bid on a lot of pages and track them all individually

Part 5: Getting Into the Cost Per Acquisition Networks (Optional)
